From Mandela Day to National Women's Day, every donation helps end period poverty and keep girls in school.
Period poverty is the inability to afford or access safe menstrual products, clean sanitation facilities, and proper hygiene supplies needed to manage menstruation with dignity.
Lack of Access
It is also the lack of education, awareness, and support surrounding menstruation, compounded by stigma, misinformation, and inadequate access to healthcare and sanitation.
Inequality
The result is that millions of girls and women miss school, lose opportunities, experience health risks, and are denied the dignity, confidence, and equality they deserve.

WHAT'S NEXT?
Manufacturing
Once donations have been collected, reusable menstrual product kits will be manufactured, ensuring every contribution is transformed into a high-quality, long-lasting solution that can support a girl for up to five years.
Distribution
The reusable kits will then be distributed to schools across South Africa, providing thousands of girls with reliable menstrual products that help them stay in school with dignity and confidence.
Workshops
At selected schools, menstrual hygiene workshops will be conducted to educate learners about menstrual health, break stigma, and empower girls with the knowledge to manage their periods confidently.
Education
Every distribution will be supported by educational resources, giving girls practical guidance on using and caring for their reusable products, while promoting healthy menstrual hygiene practices for long-term wellbeing.
